What is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy?
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH) is a modern and effective approach that combines talking therapy with hypnosis. Rather than focusing on problems or past difficulties, SFH concentrates on solutions and positive change.
This forward-focused approach helps you move towards your personal goals, supporting you in becoming a calmer, more confident, and more balanced version of yourself.
Hypnosis, sometimes referred to as a trance state, involves guided relaxation that allows the mind to enter a deeply calm and focused state. In this relaxed state, your mind becomes more open to positive thinking, helping you develop healthier thought patterns and a more positive outlook on life.
SFH is gentle, practical, and empowering—designed to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
Hypnosis or ‘trance’ uses guided relaxation, allowing the mind to be in a state of calm, leading towards a more positive approach to your life.

I worked as a scientist for over thirty years, at a world renowned science research institute. I wanted to take my scientific background and career in a different direction so I decided to train as a clinical hypnotherapist. I am fully insured with an enhanced DBS. Sessions can be booked face-to-face or via remote link.
“Awaken your inner wolf” comes from my love of wolves, as to me they represent strength, resilience and loyalty.
I live in Enfield with my husband. We love travelling and one of our passions is fostering guide dogs for the blind. I speak fluent Tamil and am proficient in British Sign Language.

Normally, my son would turn away, avoid eye contact, and even cross the road to avoid a dog walking past him. Now, however, he feels comfortable staying on the same path and can walk past dogs without needing to turn away or avoid them.
The session gave him a solid understanding of how fear develops, how the larger part of the brain works in everyday situations, and the importance of sleep and compartmentalisation.
